Clinical authority on the team
For nearly three decades, Cindy Abrams has worked at the intersection of clinical nursing, senior-care operations, and healthcare education. A Registered Nurse licensed in Arizona, she earned her BS from the University of Arizona and pursued graduate studies there — and has spent her career turning hands-on clinical experience into training that actually sticks.
Cindy is co-owner and an executive leader of Emerald Care, PLLC and Emerald Palliative Care, providing primary care to assisted living residents, nurse assessments, and senior-living consulting. Along the way she has served as COO of a Medicare-certified in-home hospice agency, as an executive director and memory-care specialist consulting for 14 Arizona facilities, and as a regional case manager training teams across 11 long-term-care communities.
What sets Cindy apart is that she has built the programs she now teaches. She has developed CNA and continuing-education curricula from the ground up — including training for medical students and other healthcare disciplines. She's licensed, she's operated the businesses she teaches about, and she brings that lived authority to every clinical course.
